Bristol Police Union Endorses Mayor Jeff Caggiano
On behalf of the Bristol Police Union, I am honored to announce that our Union
has officially endorsed Mayor Jeffrey Caggiano for re-election!
Our endorsement is based upon his long-standing, unwavering support on the
public safety issues that affect the citizens of Bristol, and on his commitment to the
fair working conditions for the men and women who protect and serve our
community.
Mayor Caggiano has consistently kept a balance of what is good for the taxpayers
while maintaining a good working environment for the police officers.
We support a mayor who supports our Department, our Union and the men and
women of the Bristol Police Department. We therefore proudly endorse Mayor
Jeffrey Caggiano and wish him great success in November!

Bristol Fire Fighters Endorse Mayor Jeff Caggiano
On behalf of the members of the Bristol Firefighters IAFF Local 773, it is with great pride and appreciation that we formally endorse your continued leadership as Mayor of the City of Bristol.
Throughout your tenure, you have demonstrated unwavering support for public safety, a clear understanding of the needs of first responders, and a sincere commitment to improving the quality of life for all Bristol residents. Your administration’s transparency, open dialogue with city employees, and investment in public infrastructure have not gone unnoticed.
Specifically, your efforts to ensure the Bristol Fire Department has the tools, training, and staffing necessary to perform our duties safely and effectively have had a direct impact on our ability to serve the community. Your respect for the work we do—and the risks we take every day—has helped strengthen the trust between our Union and City Hall.
We value your focus on collaboration, fiscal responsibility, and progress. It is rare to find leadership that balances public safety priorities with long-term city planning so effectively. You’ve proven to be a strong partner and advocate for those who protect and serve this great city.
Mayor Caggiano’s Proven Track record:
• Firefighter Health and Safety: Mayor Caggiano provided free cancer screenings to all Bristol Firefighters on a bi-annual basis. Cancer is the leading cause of deaths by firefighters. Early detection will help reduce that statistic and get our firefighters treatment earlier.
• Investing in Equipment and Infrastructure: He has continued with the build of a new Station 3 in the Forestville section of the city. Station 3 was in desperate need of repair. He was also instrumental in purchasing a 2nd Ladder truck, which will be staffed and housed at the new station.
• Collective Bargaining: Jeff gave Bristol Firefighters a fair seat at the table and signed a contract that was unanimously approved that provides benefit to both the City of Bristol and the men and women of the Bristol Fire Department.
For these reasons and more, the Bristol Firefighters proudly stand behind you and offer our full endorsement.
We look forward to continuing our work together to make Bristol safer, stronger, and more united.
